Earlier this month, Irish Methodist mission partner Melissa Newell visited the headquarters of La Iglesia Evangélica Metodista Unida del Ecuador (United Evangelical Methodist Church of Ecuador) in Quito, where she met Bishop Alfredo Pilatuña and brought greetings from the Methodist Church in Ireland.

Melissa presented Bishop Alredo with card signed by Rev Dr Sahr Yambasu and Mrs Hazel Loney (President and Lay Leader of the Methodist Church in Ireland).

Melissa moved to Ecuador in February to serve with the church and during her meeting with the Bishop, they discussed the work she will be involved in.
