Annekathrin and Matthias are joint Mission Partners with the Methodist Church in Britain and United Methodist Church in Germany as their lead agency. 

Annekathrin is a social worker and music therapist who worked for nearly 20 years in a psychiatry.  She has been a Methodist since birth and is often found singing in choirs, playing the piano and organ. Matthias is a black smith, educator and social worker, having worked for over 10 years in youth work with youth of different backgrounds and languages. Their children are, Vincent, Albert and Stella.

They are currently in training at Cliff College in the UK, but will be moving to live and work as Mission Partners with the Methodist Church Southern Africa, based in South Africa.
