Before I joined the Self Help Group, I hid in the house when I saw a new person walking past my house or coming into the village. I was afraid. Now, I am proud and can talk to anyone. I don’t hide. I can be proud of what I have achieved. As I am a single woman, society can be unkind but because I can care for my family, I have been successful.

I have learned so much from KN and now I have skills and am strong.

I have much success in goat keeping. I started with two and now have 35. I earn 50,000 rupees each year from my goats. I sell 4-5 goats a year, once they are 9/10 months old they sell for 15,000 rupees each.
