“I’ve been working for WDR for more than half of my working life. It is a privilege and there is much that is inspiring about the partners themselves as well as what they achieve with beneficiaries. I really do wish the materially poor were higher on the Western church’s agenda. With privilege comes responsibility and I’m not sure we fulfil that responsibility well. Saying that, there are also many wonderful Irish Christians who do go the extra mile in their giving and prayer. They too inspire.”
